St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Parish . Madison, Wisconsin
We, the faith community of Saint Thomas Aquinas, united with the Church throughout the world, are called by God to bring the Good News of the Gospel into the life of our community.
We strive to serve each other in a spirit of compassion and love, and to enhance justice, peace and healing in our midst.
We strive also, through our common prayer and worship with the Lord who nourishes us, to enable the gifts of the Spirit to emerge from each one of us and become more fully the disciples of Christ.

Justice & Peace

The Justice and Peace Committee seeks to promote Christ’s call to build a just and peaceful world. They facilitate activities at the parish that allow us to learn about, advocate for, and respond to issues of peace and social justice in our parish community, nation and world, consistent with the calling of the Catholic faith.

Our parish Respect Life efforts take place within the context of Justice and Peace. The foundation of all Catholic social justice teaching is the dignity of the human person, and it is on this foundation that all Respect Life efforts are built. From conception to natural death, the Church upholds a consistent ethic of life. The Respect Life subcommittee helps St. Thomas Aquinas parish to celebrate October Respect Life Month, as well as raising life issues throughout the year.
