St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Parish . Madison, Wisconsin
We, the faith community of Saint Thomas Aquinas, united with the Church throughout the world, are called by God to bring the Good News of the Gospel into the life of our community.
We strive to serve each other in a spirit of compassion and love, and to enhance justice, peace and healing in our midst.
We strive also, through our common prayer and worship with the Lord who nourishes us, to enable the gifts of the Spirit to emerge from each one of us and become more fully the disciples of Christ.

Baptism of Small Children

Your decision to have your child baptized is a major step for you as parents, for you have accepted the joy and challenge of raising your child Catholic. As one way of supporting you, we present a Baptism Class for parents. If this is your first child to be baptized, we ask that you register for a class with Lorianne Aubut.

Baptism of Older Children

If your child is old enough to speak and understand the basics of Baptism, we will spend a little extra time together. In addition to the Baptism class for parents, we will work with you so that your child is appropriately prepared to be comfortable during the celebration.

Baptism of Teens and Adults

Older teens and adults seeking Baptism are invited to the RCIA process (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). RCIA provides a format for discerning God’s call to Catholicism and responding to it with an open heart.
